Speak up about discriminatory laws that are have been passed in your state and let your representatives know how you feel. Denying transgender youth access to this type of crucial care is a serious threat to their health and has devastating effects. Refuse to be silent and make your voice heard.
For many people part of the LGBTQ+ community, speaking out against a person who is homophobic or transphobic can be dangerous. As a cisgender person you are in a position where there are less consequences for speaking out. When faced with this situation don't tolerate any types of hate speech or behaviors.
