Day 1
Friday
Over the years as the AO became known and more popular, folks started showing up as early as Wednesday and some stayed for a week or more. This is fine with us, but don't expect room service. Although we don't "officially" start until Saturday, on Friday night, we put together a batch of chili and some cornbread and sit around planning the next day. This year Bob"Bobzilla" Henderson's making chili.
Saturday
Day 2: Saturday: Meet and greet at my house. We'll meet here then head out riding or break out the wrenches and begin what work needs to be done. We expect to have doohickey tools, a few lifts, assorted other tools (please bring your own specialty tools and/or oil/fluids, if they're required), an air compressor, a small welder, torque wrenches, coolers, some food, and plenty of good laughs. If repairs are fruitless also have a backhoe if You just want to bury it.
Dinner: Like the sourdough pancakes (below) we have been offering a free, smoked turkey dinner at my place Saturday night, but this year, being special and all, I'm having the expert of many things, Jay Barker (one of the many residents of Sasabe where he makes world famous knives) to smoke up a Brisket and some ribs. Those "Adventure" riders sleeping in tents are first in line.
Sunday
Day 3: Sourdough Pancakes have been the tradition and we will keep that tradition going. Then,... more riding.
Monday
Day 4 and beyond: Some folks stay on after the the party's over.
