We ask Youth Pastors/Leaders from each youth group to collect mobile phones as part of check-in. We have seen that students benefit from unplugging from their phones for the conference so that they could better focus on building relationships with one another and with God. Any phones that are not checked in and found during the conference will be confiscated for the duration of the conference.
All leaders, youth pastors, and counselors will have access to their phones. If it is critical to contact your child, please contact your youth pastor / leader.
For the sake of security, we will not be allowing any visitors to participate or drop in during Arise.
The Trinity Christian College cafetaria will have food stations that support various dietary needs. We expect students to be able to manage their own dietary and medication needs, but if support is needed from the nursing team or admin staff, please contact the Arise Admin team at ariseyouthconference@gmail.com
During free time, attendees will have access to the gym where basketball, volleyball, and a climbing wall will be made available. As well, attendees are welcome to take free time to rest and wash up, or spend time with others in open designated spaces that will be monitored.
In the case that a student cannot attend the full conference, there is a half-rate that is available for students that come for less than 2 nights. Please contact ariseyouthconference@gmail.com to provide your specific needs.
Yes, there will be parking available, but all students will be asked to hand in their keys to their youth leader/pastor during the duration of the conference. Please ensure that you communicate to your youth leaders your plans.
Registration and pickup will be at Ozinga Chapel. A map of Trinity Christian College is available here.
Refunds will be made available until July 4th, 2025. After 7/4/25, no refunds will be given even if attendees cannot attend due to sickness or unforseen changes to their schedule.
We will have a dedicated security team staffed by Arise volunteers on top of the security staff made available by Trinity Christian College. There will also be a nursing team staffed by Arise volunteers/clinicians who will be available to support the care needs of our attendees. All volunteers are sponsored and reviewed by youth pastors / leaders and go through training to review our security policies.
If a student is deemed too sick to participate by the nursing team or has repeated behavioral incidents, Arise staff will consult with the youth pastor / leader and will make a joint decision on sending a student attendee home.
