Hello! I am Arinala (Nala) Randrianasolo (he/him). I am a dual-title PhD candidate (ABD) in Sociology and Demography at Pennsylvania State University. My broad research areas are: 

• Health Disparities

• Race and Ethnicity

• Multiracial Populations

• Structural Racism

Currently, my research is centered around the health of the multiracial population in the United States. In centering the health of the multiracial population, I explore whether established health disparities theories also apply them, what mechanisms are important for their health, and what comparison groups show the status of their health the best.
