My Experience as a CNA
During my junior year of high school, I took part in the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program. I took the CNA California State Exam and became a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in the spring of 2021. During training, I volunteered at the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living where I gave showers, fed, and transported patients. I learned how to measure vital signs: blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen levels. Through this experience, I built solid relationships with the residents and patients. This program has given me first-hand experience in the medical field and insight into what department I want to pursue in the future.
