Welcome 

I am a Maker Space Librarian with the St. Mary's County Library, where I provide digital literacy instruction to under-served communities and runs educational programs for the public at a variety of age levels.

Before starting at the library I worked at St. Mary's College of Maryland from 2018 to 2025 first as a Visiting Instructor and then as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science.  I taught a variety of courses including courses on Data Science, Game Design, and Bioinformatics. I have experience working both in the private sector as a programmer/analyst at Pango Technologies and for the federal government as a Data Scientist with the U.S. Forest Service. 

I received my master's in Computer Science from the University of Victoria in 2016 and my B.A. from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 2012.
