Welcome to my website!

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Central European University (Vienna). 

I obtained my PhD in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. During my PhD studies, I was a visiting student at CEMFI, Madrid.

My research interests lie within Political Economy, Economic History, Development Economics and Law. In my research, I combine causal inference and Natural Language Processing tools. I have used data from Italy, Brazil, Hungary, Germany, Turkey, Albania, and Austria —in order of appearance.
