I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Business at the Central European University in Vienna.

I received my Ph.D. from the Stockholm School of Economics.

My research interests lie within Political Economy, Organization Economics, Economic History, and Development. In my research, I combine causal inference and Natural Language Processing tools. I have used data from Italy, Brazil, Hungary, Germany, Turkey, and Albania—in order of appearance :-).
