Arix is my nickname in the comics world.💬 I’m an Italian live illustrator and graphic recorder, deeply passionate about learning, people, travelling and facilitating wellbeing and creativity in society.
I turn talks, meetings and events into clear, comic-style visuals — in real time, working both remotely and in person around the world (mostly in Europe).
I help people see ideas stay engaged & ... remember what really matters.
We all love stories, and it feels great to smile… don’t you?😉
I see myself as a kind of modern storyteller, with a playful sense of humor. I’ve been drawing people in a comic style since I was 10 — friends, family, teachers… just for fun.

I was supposed to become a manager...
I graduated with honors in Economics from Bocconi University.
I was supposed to become a successful manager in the fashion industry.
But I’ve always had a strong passion for communication and drawing, and a deep curiosity about society and how I could contribute to make it a better place.
...Mexico opened my eyes at 22
After an internship in Monterrey, Mexico, when I was 22, I travelled around the country and encountered its vibrant colors and ancient wisdom. I felt I couldn’t betray my soul, and...
I completely changed my idea of the future.
I created my own path
In an act of rebellion, I started personal growth workshops and began to trust my own dreams and my power to turn vision into reality.
That’s when I found my own way to combine everything I loved: art, economics and communication.
Launched Videcomix
This is how I created Videocomix: drawing people live during events, capturing their key messages and projecting them on a big screen for everyone to see. Accenture was the first company that hired me for a big event, just two months after I started.
My years in consulting
After that, I collaborated for many years with major consulting companies such as Capgemini, Accenture and BPI, working as a visualizer and visual director on international projects.
Being constantly involved in complex corporate environments taught me so much: graphic recording, live illustration, but also how to use visuals in a strategic way.
I developed strong skills in communication, consulting, strategic thinking, problem solving and going straight to the essence.
I also trained teams to draw and visualize their projects, and this deeply enriched my path as a live illustrator, because I experienced firsthand how powerful visuals can be for organizations.
Parallel life: art, travels, comics
Alongside my corporate work, I also became a painter, exhibiting in Milan with street artists, and an author of books.
I eventually published internationally my first book with Ediciones Urano, creating the character Maiku.
This allowed me to experiment with live painting events and to become more and more bold in my use of colors and visual language.
I loved travelling and spending time in remote places around the world. All these experiences continuously enriched my color palette and my way of seeing reality.
Today: comics live for you!
Today I work as a live illustrator and visual facilitator, helping people and organizations turn complex ideas into visual stories.
I feel there is something very ancient in what I do.
As human beings, we all love stories, and we are naturally drawn to people who can engage us emotionally.
That emotional connection creates meaning, enthusiasm and real understanding.
And that’s exactly what I try to bring into every drawing.
