Welcome to my webpage.
My name is Arian Khorasani. I hold a master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence from the University of Montreal, Department of Computer Science and Operational Research (DIRO), and the Mila-Quebec AI Institute, where I was supervised by Professor Irina Rish and a member of the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Autonomous Artificial Intelligence (CERC-AAI) lab.
Previously, I was a Research Assistant at Tech3Lab and HEC University in Montreal, Quebec, working on Self-Supervised Learning (SSL) multi-modal EEG brain signals alignment and their applications under the supervision of Prof. Théophile Demazure. My position was supported by HEC Montreal and the IVADO Research Center.
I'm interested in Foundation models on multi-modalities, Deep Generative Models, Cross-Modal Transfer Learning, and Technical AI Safety/Alignment.
I am a Machine Learning enthusiast, and one of my main goals during my research career is to build beneficial Augmented General Intelligence (AGI). So I'm going for it.
