My name is Ari Powell and I love to write and create. Ever since I was a kid writing has been my passion, and since then I've been able to hone my abilities with a pen, as well as pick up other talents.

I am an experienced photographer and videographer, both in the field and in studio. I am also an experienced photo and video editor well-versed in multiple Adobe Suite programs.

I am going into my fourth year at Chico State, and I have worked at Action News Now in Chico for nearly a year and a half. I have also had articles published with ChicoSol and Highbrow Magazine. I will be starting my third semester on Chico State's independent student newspaper The Orion in a few months as the arts and entertainment editor and one of the leading managers. Last semester I was the city editor, underwhich I edited news and arts and entertainment stories.

I have written 804 articles at Action News Now, 45 articles for The Orion, two articles for Highbrow Magazine and one article for ChicoSol.
