Our group often develops codes for various geomechanics problems, especially user subroutines for constitutive models (in FORTRAN), stress integration algorithms in MATLAB, input files for FEA packages (ABAQUS), python/FISH codes for discrete element packages (PFC3D/2D) etc. Some of the working codes are listed below. Feel free to use them, but please acknowledge the students' work!
Lagioia et al. 1996 soil model. Used for LODE angle variation analysis (https://doi.org/10.1002/nag.2778). UMAT and ABAQUS input file.
Hypoplastic particle breakage model for drained cyclic loading (https://doi.org/10.1007/s11440-017-0584-7). UMAT and ABAQUS input file. (Explicit RK4 stress integration)
Enhanced Mohr-Coulomb model used for foundation analysis (https://doi.org/10.1108/EC-08-2019-0358). UMAT and ABAQUS input file.
A viscoplastic particle breakage model for crushable soil (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.sandf.2021.101093) UMAT and ABAQUS input file.
Kinematic hardening-based SASNISAND model for undrained cyclic loading in sand (https://doi.org/10.1007/s40098-022-00630-2). MATLAB script for simple implicit stress integration.
Simulation of transient flow analysis through an unsaturated earthen dam (https://doi.org/10.1007/s11440-022-01597-3). ABAQUS input file.
