I am currently a Research Fellow at Newcastle Business School, University of Newcastle, Australia. Prior to this, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Public Health, Policy & Systems at the University of Liverpool.
Before joining these institutions, I served as a Research Fellow in the Department of Economics at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, an Assistant Professor at Addis Ababa University, a consultant for the World Bank Group, and a researcher at the Policy Studies Institute in Ethiopia.
My research focuses on applied microeconometrics, particularly in evaluating programs and policies, with interests spanning education, health, aspirations, energy transition, and labor markets.
