ARDraw
Effective date: June 29, 2026
Last updated: June 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how ARDraw (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the ARDraw mobile application on Android and iOS. We designed ARDraw to work primarily on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your personal information.
No account or sign-in is required.
Your preferences and saved sketches are stored locally on your device.
Camera and photo access are used only to provide AR tracing features on your device.
We do not upload your camera feed or personal photos to our servers.
We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the App.
The App downloads public sketch images from a content delivery network when you browse the catalog.
The App stores the following data locally on your device:
App settings — such as default camera, overlay opacity, auto-lock preference, and language.
Saved sketches — identifiers of sketches you mark as favorites.
Custom images you import — if you choose a photo from your library, the App uses that image on your device as a tracing overlay. The image remains on your device unless you delete it through your device or remove it within the App.
This information is not transmitted to us. If you uninstall the App or clear app data, this locally stored information is removed from your device.
With your permission, the App accesses your device camera to display a live preview and overlay sketch images for AR tracing. The camera feed is processed on your device in real time. We do not record, store, or transmit your camera video to our servers.
If you choose to import your own image, the App accesses the photo you select through your device’s system photo picker. On Android, the App uses the system Photo Picker where available and does not request broad access to your entire photo library. We do not upload the images you select to our servers.
The App uses an internet connection to download sketch images from our content provider, Cloudinary, when you browse or view sketches in the built-in catalog.
These requests may include standard technical information that web servers and CDNs typically log, such as your IP address, device type, operating system version, and the resources requested. We do not use this process to build a profile of you.
We do not intentionally collect:
Name, email address, phone number, or mailing address
Precise location or GPS data
Contacts, calendars, or messages
Payment or financial information
Advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking
We use the information described above only to:
Provide AR tracing and sketch overlay features
Remember your in-app preferences
Let you save and access favorite sketches
Load sketch artwork from our catalog
Provide optional haptic feedback on supported devices
We do not use your information for targeted advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Information may be processed by the following service providers solely to operate the App:
Cloudinary — hosts and delivers sketch images shown in the App. When your device requests an image, Cloudinary may receive standard request metadata such as IP address and user agent.
Google Play services / Android system components — the App may use Android system components such as the Photo Picker on supported devices. Use of those components is governed by Google’s policies.
We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the public.
On-device data is retained on your device until you change or delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the App.
Server/CDN logs, if generated by our content provider, are retained according to that provider’s policies and operational needs.
We take reasonable measures to protect information within our control. Because most App data stays on your device, you are also responsible for securing your device with a passcode, biometric lock, or other protections offered by your operating system.
ARDraw is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you.
You can control much of your data directly in the App and on your device:
Deny or revoke camera permission in your device settings
Choose whether to import photos from your library
Remove saved sketches and reset preferences in the App
Uninstall the App to remove locally stored data
Because we do not operate user accounts and do not receive most App data on our servers, we may not be able to identify or delete on-device information unless you contact us with sufficient details and we can verify your request where required by law.
If you use the App outside the country where our services are hosted, your information may be processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your own. By using the App, you understand that sketch image requests may be routed through service providers in various locations.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
