Welcome to Travel Dex. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Travel Dex mobile application operated by Softvinax.
These Terms are intended to supplement, and not replace, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) applicable to applications distributed through the Apple App Store.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Travel Dex, you agree to these Terms and the applicable Apple App Store terms and conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
If you access the App through Apple's App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's applicable terms, conditions, and policies, including Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Travel Dex is a travel utility application that provides features including:
Currency conversion and exchange-rate information
Trip and expense management
Squad Trip collaboration
Expense, deposit, and settlement tracking
Rate alert notifications
Data export functionality
Other travel-related features that may be introduced or modified over time
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the App from time to time.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree that you will not:
Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes
Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, decompile, or compromise the App's security, except where such activity cannot legally be restricted
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account, device, Squad Trip, or data
Transmit harmful, offensive, fraudulent, or illegal content through the App
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
Interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the App
Attempt to circumvent subscription, payment, security, or access controls
Use the App to violate the rights of another person or entity
You are responsible for the information and content you enter or upload through the App.
Travel Dex allows users to create and participate in collaborative "Squad Trips."
When you create or join a Squad Trip:
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide
Other members of the same Squad Trip may be able to see information shared within that squad
Information may include your display name, trip information, expenses, deposits, settlements, cover photos, and an app-generated identifier used for synchronization
You are responsible for sharing only information that you are comfortable making available to other members of your Squad Trip
You are responsible for managing your Squad Trip membership and access where such controls are available
Squad Trip information may be stored on our third-party backend infrastructure to provide synchronization between participating devices.
Squad data is automatically purged according to the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.
Travel Dex may provide exchange-rate information obtained from third-party public exchange-rate APIs.
Exchange-rate information:
May not always be real-time
May contain inaccuracies, delays, or interruptions
Is provided for informational and travel-planning purposes only
Should not be relied upon for financial trading, investment, banking, or other financial decisions
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or timeliness of exchange-rate information provided through the App.
We are not responsible for financial losses or other damages resulting from reliance on exchange-rate information displayed by the App.
Travel Dex may offer optional paid features or auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store.
Subscription prices, billing periods, and available features will be presented in the App before you complete a purchase.
When you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store:
Payment is processed by Apple through your Apple ID account
The applicable subscription price is charged to your Apple account upon confirmation of purchase
Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them in accordance with Apple's subscription management procedures
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account and the subscription settings provided by Apple
Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise provided by Apple or applicable law
Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple's applicable policies and procedures
Your use of Apple's payment and subscription services is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and conditions.
For information about the applicable App Store EULA, please refer to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement provided in the App Store listing.
If Travel Dex offers a free trial, introductory offer, promotional price, or other special subscription offer, the specific terms of that offer will be displayed before purchase.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, a subscription offered with a free or discounted introductory period may automatically renew at the applicable regular subscription price when the promotional period ends.
Any cancellation requirements for promotional subscriptions are governed by Apple's applicable subscription rules.
The App, including its original software, design, graphics, branding, features, content, and functionality, is owned by or licensed to Softvinax and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by law or these Terms, you may not:
Copy or reproduce the App
Modify or create derivative works of the App
Distribute or publicly display the App
Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App
Attempt to extract or reproduce the App's source code
Use Softvinax or Travel Dex trademarks without permission
These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.
Travel Dex uses third-party services to provide certain features, including:
Supabase for data storage and synchronization
Firebase Analytics for application analytics
Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and diagnostics
AppLovin for advertising services
Public exchange-rate APIs for currency information
Apple's App Store and related services for distribution, subscriptions, and payments
Your use of third-party services may be subject to the respective provider's terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the independent operation, availability, or policies of third-party services.
Travel Dex may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising providers, including AppLovin.
Advertising providers may collect certain information, such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage information, and other information as described in our Privacy Policy and the applicable provider's privacy policy.
Depending on your location, device settings, applicable laws, and consent choices, advertisements may be personalized.
You may have options to manage advertising or tracking permissions through your device settings or consent controls presented by the App.
Your privacy is important to us.
Your use of Travel Dex is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains:
What information we collect
How information is used
How information is shared
How third-party services process information
Data retention practices
Your available privacy choices
Data deletion procedures

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TRAVEL DEX AND ITS SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL:
ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE OR UNINTERRUPTED
BE FREE FROM ERRORS OR DEFECTS
ALWAYS PROVIDE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE INFORMATION
BE COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY DEVICE OR SYSTEM
REMAIN UNCHANGED OR AVAILABLE IN ITS CURRENT FORM
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOFTVINAX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
This includes, without limitation, losses resulting from:
Reliance on exchange-rate information
Loss or corruption of user-entered data
Service interruptions
Third-party service failures
Unauthorized access caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control
User errors or inaccurate information entered into the App
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.
Although we take reasonable measures to protect information handled through the App, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate copies or exports of important information.
Travel Dex provides data export functionality where supported, but you should not rely on the App as your sole backup for important financial or travel records.
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features of Travel Dex at any time.
We may also update these Terms from time to time.
When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the App, our website, or by updating the effective date of these Terms.
Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to certain features of the App if:
You materially breach these Terms
You misuse the App
You attempt to compromise the security of the App
Your use creates a security, legal, or operational risk
We are required to do so by law
Where reasonably practicable, we may provide notice before suspension or termination.
Termination of your use of the App does not automatically terminate any rights or obligations that by their nature should continue after termination.
Subscription cancellation and refunds are handled according to Apple's applicable subscription and refund policies.
If you download Travel Dex through Apple's App Store, the following additional provisions apply:
These Terms are between you and Softvinax and not Apple.
Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.
To the extent required by Apple's applicable rules, Apple may enforce the applicable App Store terms relating to your use of the App.
Your use of the App must comply with Apple's applicable App Store terms and policies.
Any applicable warranty obligations that cannot be disclaimed under law remain the responsibility of the appropriate party as required by applicable law.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce applicable provisions against you where permitted by Apple's rules.
These provisions are intended to operate together with Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Except where expressly stated otherwise, these Terms are between you and Softvinax.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to applications distributed through the Apple App Store, and Apple may enforce applicable provisions as a third-party beneficiary where permitted by Apple's applicable terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction applicable to Softvinax, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions, except where applicable consumer-protection laws provide otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of mandatory consumer protections available in your country or jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
If it cannot be made enforceable, it shall be removed without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
These Terms, together with the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms presented to you for specific features or services, constitute the agreement governing your use of Travel Dex, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple's applicable App Store terms concerning Apple's services, Apple's applicable terms will control for those Apple-specific services.
