Thank you for using Urdu Vocabulary by Ardent Script — a vocabulary learning app for Urdu. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the app, including all features, content, and services offered through it.

By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our [Privacy Policy]. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. App Functionality

The app provides tools to help users learn and review Urdu vocabulary. Features include word lists, spaced repetition (FSRS), progress tracking, and theme customization. Some features require an internet connection. An internet connection may also be used to send anonymous crash reports that help us improve app stability.

2. Free and Premium Access

The app offers two tiers of access:

Free tier includes the Word of the Day, 272 starter words, FSRS smart recall, language toggle, and progress tracking.

Premium tier unlocks 900+ words across all categories and the Favorites collection. Premium is available as a one-time lifetime purchase. There is no subscription.

3. In-App Purchases

• Premium access is offered as a one-time, non-recurring purchase processed entirely by Google Play.

• Prices are displayed in your local currency as determined by Google Play at the time of purchase.

• We do not collect, store, or process any payment or billing information. All transactions are handled by Google Play and subject to Google's Payments Privacy Policy.

• Purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or Google Play's refund policy.

• Premium access is tied to the Google account used to make the purchase.

4. Restoring Purchases

If you reinstall the app or switch devices, you can restore a previous purchase using the "Restore Purchase" option on the Premium screen. The same Google account used for the original purchase must be active on the device.

5. Data Handling

• We do not store your personal data on remote servers.

• All vocabulary progress, premium status, and user preferences are stored locally on your device.

• Crash reports are collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us improve app stability. These reports are anonymous and contain no personally identifiable information.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the app for lawful purposes only.

• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app.

• Not misuse the app to harm, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system or data.

• Not attempt to bypass or circumvent the premium access system.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within the app — including text, UI design, graphics, and logos — is owned by Ardent Script and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse any content without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Ardent Script is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or issues arising from third-party services such as Google Play.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via app updates or in-app notices. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
