Dr. Hayes

As an extension specialist, I believe in finding solutions for livestock producers to make their production system better. I focus on how to improve the environment to which the animals are exposed by providing education on ventilation, energy, water and temperature requirements in barns. Often improving the livestock system involves making site specific recommendations based on existing management and research about innovative facility designs, materials and technologies.
