Containment Classifications
Containment class serves as an indicator of the level of difficulty in containing an SCP. Lower containment classes indicate lesser protocols and procedures in place to prevent a breach, while higher containment classes imply a greater need for security measures and containment protocols. Containment classes are often used to determine the degree of risk associated with an SCP and the level of resources required to contain it safely.
Containment Class Safe is the lowest classification assigned to SCPs, meaning they pose the least risk of breaching containment.
Euclid is a containment class assigned to SCPs whose behavior is not fully understood, meaning they may pose some level of unpredictability and the possibility of escaping containment
Containment Class Keter is assigned to SCPs that are extremely difficult to control or contain, presenting a high degree of instability, unpredictability and danger to those around them.
Assigned to newly contained SCPs awaiting classification.
Risk Class
y. The Risk Class is used to determine the level of actual danger an SCP object poses to an individual or group of individuals.
SCP objects with a higher risk class will require more advanced protocols, additional restrictions on access to research and information, and enhanced security measures.
Notice-Class SCPs are anomalies that pose little to no risk to the well-being of individuals. The anomalous effects of these objects are either nonexistent or extremely mild and do not pose a threat to the foundation.
Caution-Class SCPs are anomalies that have the potential to cause mild to moderate harm to individuals in proximity. These objects may produce mild physical or emotional effects.
Warning-Class SCPs are anomalies that have the potential to cause moderate to significant harm to individuals in close proximity. These objects may produce mild to severe effects, such as acute to chronic mental disorders, physical impairment, or chronic pain.
Anomalies with the Risk Class "Danger" pose a very high risk potential to anyone in close proximity. These anomalies have a high possibility of causing severe effects, ranging from major to extreme. These effects can be deadly, and anyone in the presence of a Danger-Class SCP is at high risk of experiencing these devastating effects.
Critical-Class SCPs will pose immediate and irreversible damage to any individuals nearby. Infliction of death is incredibly likely and expected, but not necessarily definitive.
