How to reach Nazareth

Public Transportation:

To reach Nazareth from Tel-Aviv (Ben Gurion Airport) there are quite alternate routes which you can find on Moovit App or Google map (combination of Trains and Buses). 

Note that Moovit App is by default in Hebrew, you may need to change the language preference to English (navigate to the three lines in top-left) to get the map and the station names in English.

No cash is accepted on the pubic transport. The most convenient way to pay for a bus ticket is through Moovit App or through a Rav-Kav card. You may buy a Rav-Kav card at the entrance of the train station just outside the arrival gate of the airport. You may load your cards there or using your NFS enabled mobile phones.

Note:

Public transportation is not available during Shabbat (from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening). So if you are planning to arrive during Shabbat then only option is to take a cab/taxi. To order a taxi, you may use Gett app or you may ask any random cab outside the airport. If you need a receipt of the cab then do not forget to ask the driver in advance for it.

**Renting a car may also be a viable option during your whole trip.**

Cash Conversion

If you wish to use cash in Israel for any transactions, please bring USDs or Euros with you and get it exchanged for New Israeli Shekels from Bank HaPoalim's counter within the airport near the exit gate. It is recommended to bring USD/Euro.

Hotels in Nazareth

The conference venue is located at the city center (close to the Church of Annunciation, the Old City and to Merry's well) . There are many hotels within walking distance from the venue. 

Hotels in Israel are expensive!

Important note: 

May is a very busy month in Nazareth. Please book your accommodation as soon as possible!

Block Booking:

We have made block booking with a travel agency (Rashid Travel & Tours Ltd.) with the three 5-star hotels.

The block booking is valid until April 1st!

1- The Blend Boutique Hotel: The hotel is about 10 minutes walking distance from the conference venue.

The cost of the room (including breakfast) is 300$ for a double room and 275$ for a single room.

2- Golden Crown Nazareth hotel: The hotel is not close to the venue and transportation is needed. The cost of the room (including breakfast) is 255$ for a double room and 225$ for a single room.

3- Ramada Nazareth: The hotel is not close to the venue and transportation is needed. The cost of the room (including breakfast) is 250$ for a double room and 220$ for a single room.

Other Options:

There are plenty of other options in the city with lower prices. We recommend those in the city, such as: Mary’s Well Nazareth By Dan Hotels, Michel House, Rosana guest house, Louis GuestHouse, Al Bishara Guest House, etc. They all appear in booking.com website!
