Archivist is your all-in-one platform for managing school activities. Track attendance, homework, exams, messages, and notices—all in one place. This guide will help you understand how to use the app step by step, from creating your account to managing your tasks and notifications.

Getting Started

1. Installing the App

Download the Archivist App from:

• Google Play Store

• Apple App Store

Once installed, tap the app icon to open it.

2. Splash Screen

When you open the app, you’ll see the Archivist splash screen for a few seconds before being taken to the next step.

3. Logging In

If you already have an account, you’ll be redirected to your Home Page. Otherwise, you’ll land on the Login Page.

To log in:

• Enter your registered phone number or email.

• Enter your password.

• Tap Login.

If your credentials are correct, you’ll be redirected to your dashboard

Managing Your Account

1. Editing Your Profile

You can update your personal information anytime:

• Go to Profile → Edit Details

• Update your information

• Tap Save Changes

2. Changing Your Password

To change your password:

• Go to Profile → Change Password

• Enter your current password

• Enter a new password (minimum 8 characters)

• Confirm the new password and tap Update Password

Using the App

1. Attendance

• Track attendance for students or your own classes.

• Teachers can mark attendance for each class.

• Parents and students can view attendance records in real time.

2. Homework & Assignments

• View daily or upcoming homework.

• Teachers can assign tasks and update deadlines.

• Students and parents can check and mark completed homework.

3. Exams

• View exam schedules, subjects, and results.

• Teachers can publish exam notifications and grades.

• Students and parents stay informed about upcoming exams.

4. Messages & Notices

• Receive messages from teachers, students, or school admins.

• Check all school notices and announcements in one place.

• Communicate directly through the secure in-app messaging system.

Notifications & Updates

• Get real-time alerts for attendance, homework, exams, messages, and notices.

• Never miss an important update from school.

Security & Privacy

• All personal and academic data is securely encrypted.

• Avoid sharing login credentials.

• Always log out when using shared devices.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q1: I can’t log in. What should I do?
Check if your phone/email and password are correct. Use Forgot Password to reset if needed.

Q2: I didn’t receive a notification or message.
Check your internet connection or refresh the relevant section. Contact support if the issue persists.

Q3: How can I update my profile or role?
Go to Profile → Edit Details and update your personal information or role.

Q4: How can I check attendance or homework?

• Students/Parents: Go to Attendance or Homework section.

• Teachers: Go to Classes → Attendance / Homework.

Q5: How can I track exams and results?
Go to Exams to view schedules, subjects, and grades.

Q6: How do I communicate with teachers, students, or parents?
Use the Messages section to send and receive secure in-app messages.
