About the Archive

The British Curatorial Archive was founded in London in 1888 by Reginald C. Whithfield with a singular purpose: to preserve the official records of notable criminal investigations conducted throughout the United Kingdom.

These records are curated with the utmost respect for historical accuracy and made available ro researchers, analysts and students of true crime and criminal history.

Truth survives only when someone chooses to preserve it.
