A Message to the Archer Street School Parents

Dear Archer Street Families,

As the new librarian at Archer Street Elementary School, I am excited to help my students develop a love of reading in our decadent library. I have several stimulating and inspiring activities planned for this year, and I can't wait to encourage our new age of technology and literature to your children.

Our library serves beyond the traditional elements of books. I want to remind you that the library is a center for exploration. Your middle school student is currently discovering who they are and what their interests may be. I am here to help develop their niche by incorporating technology, books, and special programs to help blossom them as the global citizens'. They are the lifelong learners that Archer Street Elementary embraces.

If you have any concerns, suggestions, or need insight on making reading and learning exciting for your child, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I am thrilled to teach your future leaders.

Sincerely,

Phoebe Levin

Lost Books

If your child can not find their book, please take the time to search thoroughly. I do not send out overdue notices weekly, but will before major breaks and at the end of the school year. If the book is lost, please reach out to me to talk about options to replace the book. Please do not let the book being lost, discourage your child from reading!! Thank you for helping and looking!

Donations

Book donations are awesome, but here at Archer, we are selective about what we read! The books need to be in excellent condition and appropriate for grades k-4. Please contact Ms. Levin with the list you were willing to donate, and thank you for thinking of us!!

I Encourage You...

Please take advantage of the Freeport Memorial Library, there are so many available resources for both you and your children. Library Cards are free of charge, and the key to bettering your child's life, and yours!
