The sculpture is interesting since it remains symmetrical from certain angles, while completely unbalanced at others. The geometric shapes give it a sense of regularity and control while the structure remains strong and dense, formed from painted aluminum. I enjoyed the sculpture's change from balanced to unbalanced, while still feeling stable.

This sculpture is unique in the feelings it gives. The build is lightweight and the shape gives it the look of a feather. The polished brass creates a reflective surface meant to enhance the designs materiality. I liked this sculptures as it demonstrates the importance of materiality in how we perceive a weight in structure.

George W. Hart specialized in creating sculptures that are based on classical ideas, balance and symmetry. He demonstrates the beauty of mathematics and how they can create large organic forms that catch the eye. I found this sculpture fascinating because it weaves in and out of itself to create something that is both organic, but controlled and symmetric.
