AVP is a complete curriculum that builds TWO NEW SPECIALIZATIONS, and TWO NEW CERTIFICATIONS. The " All Rounded Architectural Visualization Specialist ", and " The All Rounded Visualization Specialist "
During the process of developing an architectural presentation, the artist or the illustrator tends to use a single or two techniques at the most to produce the final presentation
Some artists work in Computer Environment depending on software applications designated specifically for this job as their essential tools, Others are still using classical Techniques to produce architectural presentations. Since both schools can produce high quality presentations
Neither the quality of the final presentation, working hours consumed, nor the client preference are the main criteria for this diverse approach, Although quality of the final renderings and speed of work are the most crucial and appreciated factors in evaluating the artist's performance and skills
The reason for the existence of these two schools is the difficulty to find an "All - In - One " Architectural illustrator who CAN PRACTICE [ at " The State Of The Art " level ] and USE ALL rendering techniques found in both [ Modern - digital and computer environment ] and [ Classical - the extended realm of natural media rendering ] to produce high quality architectural presentations.
Studying the realm will expand job vacancies and will provide employment opportunities for graduates of the program in other fields beyond working as an architectural illustrator in architecture and interior design firms, AVP graduates may search for jobs in other fields like media, animation and graphics. That is when job opportunities in architecture and interior design firms as an architectural illustrator become scarce AVP graduates can explore other chances in related areas as visualization specialists
We better call it a realm that qualifies its graduates to expand their fields of experience
AVP - Diversity: AVP is a rich program with diverse knowledge, A DIVERSITY in learning architectural visualization from classical natural media architectural rendering, to digital media architectural rendering, AND ANOTHER DIVERSITY in learning to practice more visualization skills beyond the scope of architectural visualization like Multimedia, Graphics, Animation, Interactive web visualization, virtual reality, and more....
AVP focuses on building visualization skills through its structure and learning methodology, rather than training students on how to use specific rendering tools, there are many educational institutions, and training centers who offer training programs purely designated to teach students how to use computer; Rendering and visualization software applications. At the AVP curriculum in order to attend some program modules specifically AVP computer environment modules, a fair knowledge and experience using computer visualization and rendering software applications are prerequisites necessary to attend these modules
AVP is structured to transfer knowledge to students on a "Step - by - Step How To Learn" methodology, The classroom environment is dynamic and full of teamwork, group discussions, extensive exercising, projects and assignments, at the end every student should submit a graduation project, and pass a graduation exam in order to be eligible for certification. After Graduation every student leaves the school with a projects portfolio, the portfolio contains a copy of all exercises, homework, assignments. And all visualization projects done by the student during the course, The graduated student can use this portfolio as the first visualization resume
Although the AVP is geared towards developing architectural visualization skills, throughout the program modules students will be able to have an in-depth study of visualization skills related to media, animation, TV commercials, web and multimedia and may be qualified for the visualization specialist certification
AVP has no equivalent in Academia and it is developed to compensate shortage of teaching those skills at the undergraduates level of academic studies of architecture, interior design, fine arts, and digital media
