Mandatory Requirement:

One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory from Session 2025-26 for applying for scholarship schemes on UP Scholarship Portal (https://scholarship.up.gov.in)

Active Mobile number and Aadhaar Number is mandatory for OTR.

Steps for Registration:

1. After successfully generation of OTR, OTR Number will be displayed as well as it will be sent to registered mobile number only after that student can apply for UP scholarship.

2. It is a three Step Process :

    A.  Mobile Number Authentication.

    B.  Aadhaar e-KYC.

    C.  OTR Number Generation.

3. One OTR Number is allowed per Student.

4. In case more than one OTR is found for a student, he/she would be liable for debarment from scholarships.
