This Course is a 2-year program based on yearly.
Examination system, which includes theory and Practical besides individual training.
A score of 50% in physics, chemistry, biology or physics, chemistry, mathematics from any one of the following:
10+2
Intermediate examination in Science
Any other qualification approved by Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above exams.

Attendance
The students have to produce a certificate form to the Head of the Institution that he/she has satisfactorily atended the course and has to credit
not less than 80% of the atendance separately in theory and practical of each subject.
Board of Examining Authority
The preliminary Diploma in Pharmacy Examination is held at the end of the first year of the course. The Final Year of the Diploma in Pharmacy course examination is held at the end of second year.
Pass percentage
A student shall not be declared to have passed the above exams unless he/she secure minimum percentage in each of the subject separately in the theory and practical. Candidates securing 60% and 75% or above in any subject shall be declared to have obtained FIRST CLASS and DISTINCTION, respectively, provided the student passed on all the subject on the same examination.
Practical training
After Completion of the "DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY", candidates should undergo Practical training in Institution, Hospital and Pharmacy or Manufacturing house recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India. The Practical training period shall not be less than 500 hours spread over a period of not less than 3 months, if not less than 250 hours are devoted to actual dispensing of prescriptions.
