Research Interest

Rainfall Extremes, Water and Energy sustainability, Urban climate and policy

I am a researcher in the field of sustainability and climate risk studies, with a passion for the application-oriented research to bridge the gap between climate science and practice on ground.

With nine years of experience in technical as well as non-technical research, I have a proven ability in processing, interpreting and communicating complexity of global large-scale weather and climate projection data, extreme events assessments and climate variability into impact-based studies for agriculture and water resources. My exposure to diverse international and national projects with Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC, Pune), Adaption at Scales in Semi Arids Region (ASSAR, Cape Town), Hindustan Lever Foundation (HUF), GIZ and National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development, India (NABARD) includes topics of water and energy sustainability, climate change risk assessment and adaptation practices.
