MEET OUR BOARD!

XENIA DANYLYSZYN (Executive Director) is a multidisciplinary theatermaker with a passion for community building, entertainment, and education. As a founding member of Arachne Theater, Xenia’s focus is on creating a platform fostering curiosity for and connection through classical works. Her work with other companies includes A Very Good Theater Company, Between Us Theater Co., Song of Avalon Productions, and Red Monkey. A passionate advocate for accessible nonprofit theater, she is a member of the IndieSpace community. Education includes Fordham University (2016-2020) and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting (2019).



BEN R.B. MILLER (Artistic Director) is a producer/director based in New York. Ben has been a part of Arachne Theater since its inception and is a proud founding member of the company. In addition to Artistic Director, he has served as producer for several Arachne productions including Julius Caesar, A Christmas Carol, Love’s Labour’s Lost, and most recently Much Ado About Nothing. 

SEAN COFFEY (Dramaturg) is a theater artist based in Westchester, NY. He studied at Fordham University and has collaborated on many theater projects locally throughout the tristate area. Sean has worked with a variety of companies including Red Monkey Theater Group, M&M Productions, the Sherman Playhouse, the New York Theater Festival, the Soho Playhouse and the Chain Theater. He currently serves on Arachne’s executive board as the company’s resident Dramaturg and has provided creative consultation for each of the company’s productions, including Shakespeare’s The Tempest, Macbeth, Love’s Labours Lost, Twelfth Night, and Much Ado About Nothing. He also acted as the producer for Arachne’s most recent production, this past summer’s outdoor staging of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. 

MAREN DAHL (Marketing Director) is a Minnesota-based theatre artist with a passion for classical theatre. Maren is a graduate of Lawrence University, where she studied theatre and psychology with an emphasis in trauma-informed drama therapy. She has served as Arachne’s Marketing Director since 2022, heading content creation and social media initiatives. She upholds Arachne’s commitment to bringing new perspectives to classical works, and values the spirit of connection and collaboration that those perspectives bring to artistic spaces. Her work with other companies has included The Art of Reconciliation and Shakespeare Academy @ Stratford.

SIMON RODRIGUEZ (Financial Controller) serves as the Business Manager for Arachne Theater. Simon graduated from the Gabelli School of Business in 2020. There, they actively participated in several committees within the United Student Government, focusing on budget and spending decisions to enhance student life. Additionally, Simon served as treasurer of the Theatrical Outreach Program for two years, Simon managed all budgetary allocations and successfully implemented fundraising strategies, significantly increasing funding for the organization. Simon joined the board of Arachne Theater in 2023 because of their staunch belief in its mission and their unending passion for theater.


SARAH JACK (Grant-writer) is an arts administrator, grant-writer, and multidisciplinary theater-maker based in Brooklyn, NYC who believes in the power of the arts to be transformational and provide a space to enlarge our capacity for empathy. Since receiving their BA in Drama from Bennington College, Sarah has gone on to work with a number of companies including the Park Avenue Armory, the Entertainment Community Fund, the Mint Theater Co., City Gate Productions, A Very Good Theater Company, The Public Theatre, and the Hubbard Hall Center for Arts & Education to name a few.
