Greetings From the Board
Quite a bit happening now and in the next few months. The pad for the new mailboxes has been poured and now we wait for the USPS to get their crew in to install the new boxes.
We will be having a second dumpster days weekend in mid September and a chipper day in late Sept or early Oct. We see lots of slash by the road side stalked up and ready to go. Pleas emake sure to sign up whrn we announce and be sure to be current on your dues, as thats how we pay for these events.
Mitigation assistance by the Arabian Acres POA NoFloCo Chapter is still here. Reach out if you would like to have us look at you property and give an assessment. This mitigation assistance is provided by the POA at no cost. We do ask for your assistance if capable and or help with feeding the volunteers after the work is completed.
If you plan to build or make property improvements please remember we have an Architectural Control Committee that needs to be notified. Not all projects need approval, but make sure to check in and ensure you're not violating the covenants.
Teller county is in the process of enacting regulations for short term rentals (STR's) There will be rules and regs put in place to limit how many will be allowed in POA's and HOA's. Quiet hours will be established and more. Until it passes, please remember that if you have STR issues with bears and trash, noise and especially lit fire pits to call the Teller County Sheriffs Office to address the issue first. You can notify the POA, but we have no authority to enter a property and address these issues.
At This mornings meeting we had a few folks attend that are willing to step up and help us keep this POA alive We, the board, will be having a work session soon to discuss how we're going to proceed. New blood, new ideas, and hopefully a new future here in Arabian Acres.
We plan to hold our next public meeting the first week of November. the exact date will be posted here and on our social media. We also hope to get our email notification back up as well.
