Virtual Reality

Take an adventure to anywhere in the world! With the use of virtual reality many destinations are at your fingertips. Use Google Cardboards to take a trip around the globe.

Goals & Objectives:

Take a trip to anywhere around the globe using Google Cardboards. This will allow for opportunities to expose and visit places you never would have thought possible.

Activity Instructions:

  1. Download the Google Cardboard & Expeditions apps on your mobile device.
  2. Watch the video that explains virtual reality & how it works.
  3. Grab a Google Cardboard & fold it out to make your headset. (The foam pieces & strap are optional.)
  4. On your phone, open the Google Cardboard app and set it up using the prompts within the app.
  5. Check out some of the options within the application.
  6. Now buckle up for an Expedition!
  7. Check out this video to show power of using Expeditions. (Magic School Bus)
  8. Open up the Expeditions app on your mobile device. Check out some of the field trips. (There is even one for 4-H!)
