Very Wise Technologies built the Aquesta app as a free hydration tracking utility (with optional In‑App Purchases). This SERVICE is provided by Very Wise Technologies and is intended for use as is.
This page informs visitors about our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of information if you use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. Information we handle is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible in the Aquesta app, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
For a better experience, while using our Service, Aquesta stores certain information on your device, including:
Hydration logs (drinks, amounts, times)
Daily goals and reminder preferences
Bottle / vessel preferences
Optional body metrics you enter (such as weight or height), used only to suggest a personal hydration estimate
App settings (units, theme, drink contribution preferences)
This information is stored locally on your iPhone (and in an App Group on the same device so widgets can show your progress). We do not operate a server that receives your hydration history or Health data.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Aquesta may read and write water intake and related activity signals (such as workouts) through Apple Health on your devices. That data stays between the App and Apple Health; we do not upload it to our own servers.
The app may use Apple platform services that process information as described in Apple’s policies, including:
App Store / In‑App Purchase (handled by Apple)
We want to inform you that Aquesta may keep a small set of anonymous, on-device event names for debugging product behavior (for example, that a drink was logged). These are not used to identify you, are not sold, and are not used for advertising or cross‑app tracking.
If you contact us by email (support or feedback), we will receive whatever you choose to send (such as your email address and message content), and may also see device details you include in the message.
We do not collect crash or analytics data through third-party advertising networks in this version of the App.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. They are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and stored on your device.
This Service (the Aquesta iOS app) does not use cookies. If you visit a related website we host (such as this privacy page on Google Sites), that host may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its policies. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
We may rely on third parties only as needed to provide the Service, including:
Apple — App distribution, notifications infrastructure, In‑App Purchases, and optional Apple Health
Email — if you write to us, your message is delivered through your email provider and ours
These parties process information under their own terms to perform tasks on the platform’s behalf. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers.
Optional Aquesta Pro features are sold via Apple In‑App Purchase. Apple processes payment. We do not receive your full payment card details. Subscription management and billing support are handled through your Apple ID settings.
This version of Aquesta does not show ads.
We do not sell your health or hydration data.
We do not use your hydration history for advertising or cross‑app tracking.
We value your trust. Because hydration and related data stay primarily on your device (and in Apple Health if you enable it), protection also depends on your device passcode, Apple ID security, and iOS settings. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This Service or our related pages may contain links to other sites (for example Apple’s privacy pages). If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Those sites are not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review their Privacy Policies. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Because Aquesta stores data on device and does not run a hydration account server, deleting the app removes the local data on that device. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us personal information by email, contact us so we can delete that correspondence where applicable.
Delete the App to remove local Aquesta data from that device.
Disconnect Apple Health in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Turn off notifications for Aquesta in iOS Settings.
Email us to ask a privacy question or request deletion of information you sent us by email.
Aquesta is a hydration tracking utility, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent dehydration or any condition. Individual needs vary.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will post the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes are effective when they are posted on this page.
