Aqua Traq ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use the Aqua Traq mobile application (the "App").
Aqua Traq is designed with privacy as a priority.
Health and Hydration Data: All water intake data, daily goals, and historical charts entered into the App are processed and stored strictly locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or have access to your health or hydration data on any external servers.
Personal Information: We do not require you to create an account, nor do we collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.
To provide core functionality, the App requests the following on-device permissions:
Local Storage: Used exclusively to save your hydration history and preferences locally on your device so your data persists between sessions.
Notifications: Used exclusively to schedule local, on-device reminders to drink water. These notifications are triggered locally by your device's clock and are not sent from a remote server.
The App uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. Google AdMob is a third-party service provided by Google LLC.
While Aqua Traq does not share your personal data, Google AdMob may collect and use certain information to provide targeted advertisements and analyze ad performance. This data may include:
Device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID)
IP addresses
App usage data and crash logs related to ad performance
You can learn more about how Google collects and uses data by visiting the Google Privacy & Terms site.
Opting Out of Personalized Ads: When you first launch Aqua Traq, you are presented with a consent modal regarding ad preferences. Furthermore, you can opt out of personalized advertising at the device level by going to your Android device's Settings > Privacy > Ads and selecting "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or "Delete advertising ID."
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
