Aqua Sport Divers has been operating in the heart of Kapas Island since 1998. We are a PADI dive center that offers the complete spectrum of PADI recreational courses from introductory to professional levels. There are also NAUI & PTRD courses available.
Due to its close proximity to the mainland, day-trippers find Kapas Island to be highly alluring. Divers can board a speedboat at 9 a.m., complete two or three dives, and return to Marang Jetty by 5 or 6 p.m.
The waters around us are less demanding than others islands. Because of the low current and shallow dive locations, it is ideal for Discover Scuba & Open Water Course. For divers who are adventurous, some dive sites are great for underwater training such as navigation, underwater photography & wreck diving.
At Aqua Sport, we prioritize safety. Therefore our student-to-teacher ratio would be no more than 3 or 4 pupils per instructor. This is to ensure that our instructor may use a hands-on approach while instructing, avoiding any discomfort on the part of the student and preventing any undesirable accidents underwater.
Event & Contribution
There are a few prominent non-governmental organizations (NGOs) on Kapas Island that are working hard to preserve the island's ecosystem, cleanliness, and the welfare of its marine life.
As scuba divers, we believe in diving ethically so that the act of diving itself can be deemed sustainable. Scuba diving advancements have made it feasible to dive alongside schools of fish and observe corals, sea stars, and other undersea riches.
Scuba divers are only tourists to the underwater world; we must act correctly and follow laws to avoid any long-term or short-term damage.
Here are some of the non-governmental organizations with whom we have collaborated. Follow us on social media accounts to get updates regarding future events where you might get to join our fight to save the sea.
