How does AquaLens identify fish?
AquaLens analyzes your photo using image recognition technology and compares it with a database of fish species to suggest the most likely match.
Why didn’t my scan return a result?
This may happen if the image is blurry, too dark, or shows more than one fish. Try retaking the photo in better lighting and focus on a single fish.
How can I improve scan accuracy?
Take a clear photo of the entire fish from the side with good lighting. Make sure fins, body shape, and colors are visible.
Can I save fish I identify?
Yes. You can save identified fish to your collection and view them later in the app.
Do I need to enable location?
Location helps AquaLens suggest fish species commonly found near you, but the identification feature works without it.
