The primary benefit of Reverse Osmosis is the removal of up to 99% of dissolved solids and contaminants. The process uses a semi-permeable membrane that acts as an ultra-fine microscopic "sieve," blocking things that standard carbon filters simply can't catch, including:
Heavy Metals: Lead, mercury, and arsenic.
Chemicals: Chlorine, fluoride, and pesticides.
Salts and Nitrates: Often found in groundwater or older city pipes.
If you’ve ever noticed a metallic tang or a "swimming pool" smell in tap water, you're tasting the additives used by municipal plants. RO water removes these odors and impurities, leaving you with water that is crisp, clean, and refreshing.
Better Cooking: Using purified water improves the flavor of soups, pasta, and boiled vegetables.
Clearer Drinks: Your coffee and tea will taste exactly like the beans or leaves intended, without the interference of mineral buildup.
For those with sensitive immune systems or anyone looking to minimize their intake of microplastics and "forever chemicals" (PFAS), RO water offers peace of mind. By stripping away bacteria and parasites like Cryptosporidium or Giardia, you are drinking water that is significantly safer than most untreated or basic-filtered sources.
Hard water contains minerals like calcium and magnesium that create "scale" buildup. Over time, this ruins coffee makers, kettles, and ice machines. RO water is "soft" by nature, meaning:
No Scale: Your appliances will last longer and run more efficiently.
Clear Ice: RO water produces crystal-clear ice cubes because it lacks the trapped minerals and gases that cause cloudiness.
Switching to a reliable RO delivery service or home system is a major win for the environment.
Reduce Plastic Waste: You can stop relying on thousands of single-use plastic bottles that end up in landfills.
Save Money: Purified water is significantly cheaper per gallon than buying small individual bottles from a retail store.
The Bottom Line:
Reverse Osmosis doesn't just filter your water; it reclaims it. It is the most reliable way to turn standard tap water into a premium, high-quality resource for your home or office.
FAQ's
It’s simple! On your scheduled delivery day, just leave your empty 5-gallon jugs outside your door or in a designated spot. We’ll swap them for fresh, full RO jugs. You don't even need to be home.
To keep our routes efficient and prices low, we have a minimum delivery of 2 Jugs for the Napanee area and 1 Jug for the Deseronto and Tyendinaga MT area.
No problem, obviously we would prefer if you leave your jugs outside on delivery day but we can still leave full jugs for you, and we’ll just pick up the extra empties on our next scheduled visit or bring them down to our shop before the next delivery day.

No, we don't charge a bottle deposit as we do an exchange program and when and if you decide you no longer want our services we will take our jugs back.
Our RO system uses a multi-stage filtration process that removes up to 99.9% of impurities, including chlorine, lead, fluoride, and dissolved solids. The result is a crisp, clean taste that tap water simply can’t match.
Yes! Because RO water is stripped of the minerals that cause "hard water" buildup, it’s excellent for coffee makers, kettles, and humidifiers, helping them last much longer.
We specialize in the delivery of premium water. While we don't currently rent coolers, we can recommend the best models compatible with our 5-gallon jugs, or help you set up your existing one.
To keep your water tasting its best, we recommend a simple sanitization of your cooler’s reservoir every 3 to 6 months.
