Ifrane is famous for snow but the melted water from snow goes to waste and we don’t use it. Our project will collect water and send it to a filter to be cleaned so it can then be used for house-hold tasks.  Our experiment is testing filters with cotton and without cotton, as well as with limestone and without limestone.

We think that if we make a filter with cotton and without, the one with cotton will be cleaner, because the cotton will stop the smaller particles. We don't think there will be a difference between the limestone filter and the one without limestone.

The filter without cotton got hot, and started melting.

Our experiment was testing how effective filters were with and without cotton. Our hypothesis was that the filter with cotton would work better than the filter without cotton. Our hypothesis was correct and the filter with cotton did work better than the one without. 

Our project aims to help Ifrane by addressing the water scarcity. Our project will collect and filter water for household tasks such as cleaning clothes. This will cut expenses on buying water, and will make it easier to get clean water.
