The Play Class at Aqsa International Islamic School is thoughtfully designed to provide young learners with a strong academic foundation and a nurturing Islamic upbringing. By integrating internationally recognized Cambridge early learning subjects with Qurβanic and Islamic education, we ensure a balanced beginning to a childβs educational and spiritual journey.
Children are gently introduced to basic Islamic manners (Adab), daily duas, short Surahs from the Qurβan, and age-appropriate moral values. Islamic tarbiyah is practiced naturally through daily routines, stories, and behavior modeling.
Our Play Class follows Cambridge Early Years learning principles, focusing on:
Early English language exposure (phonics, sounds, vocabulary)
Basic numeracy (numbers, shapes, patterns, counting)
Environmental awareness and general knowledge
Communication, listening, and expression skills
Learning materials and activities are inspired by Cambridge-recommended early learning frameworks, ensuring global academic readiness.
Introduction to Arabic letters and sounds (Nurani method)
Recognition of basic Qurβanic words
Soft, playful exposure to Qurβan recitation
Listening and repeating short Surahs in a joyful environment
A unique blend of Islamic Madrasah-style moral training with a modern English-version teaching approach, ensuring both deen and duniya are nurtured together.
Play-based and activity-based learning
Storytelling, rhymes, puzzles, and hands-on activities
Development of creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving skills
