I wrote a bit about my experience as COP26 Coalition coordinator during the 26th UN climate conference in Glasgow here.
I am one of the co-founder of Climate Camp Scotland, a grassroots collective organising annual week-long camps, with workshops, talks and trainings for the climate movement, using the camp to stage mass direct action against the fossil fuel industry in Scotland. I secured several grants from Patagonia, Lush, and Network for Social Change for the group. You can read about us here and here.
I was a co-founder of Gesellschaftsdenken, an initiative to combat far-right extremism and promote social cohesion, using dialogue techniques to de-radicalise folk in areas with high far-right voting patterns. We won the Democracy Prize of the German Centre for Political Education in 2016, as well as funding from the Erasmus+ Youth programme of the EU. I quit the group due to my PhD getting a bit stressful, but they're is still active!
