This Privacy Policy describes how AI Chart Analysis ("the App", "we", "our", "AQ Apps Studio") handles your information. Please read it carefully before using the App. By using the App you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect and How It Is Used

1.1  Chart Images

When you submit a chart image for analysis — whether selected from your device gallery, shared from another app, captured from the live chart screen, or opened from a file manager — that image is transmitted to OpenAI's API (GPT-4o Vision) solely to generate the technical analysis result. We do not upload, store, or retain your chart images on any server operated by us. OpenAI's handling of image data is governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy (openai.com/policies/privacy-policy).

1.2  Analysis Results and History

Analysis results returned by OpenAI are stored locally on your device using your device's internal storage (SharedPreferences and local file storage). This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it manually using the in-app share feature. You can delete individual records or clear your entire analysis history at any time from Settings > Clear Analysis History.

1.3  Price Alerts

Price alert configurations (trading pair, target price, condition) are stored locally on your device only. To evaluate alerts, the App makes requests to the Binance public API (api.binance.com) to fetch current market prices for the pairs you have configured. No personally identifying information is sent to Binance — only the trading pair symbol (e.g. BTCUSDT) is included in these requests.

1.4  Live Chart Data

When you use the live chart screen, the App connects to the Binance public API to retrieve candlestick (kline) data and 24-hour ticker information for the selected trading pair. These are unauthenticated public API calls. No account information or personal data is transmitted to Binance.

1.5  Subscription and Purchase Information

Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat (revenuecat.com/privacy). When you purchase or restore a subscription, RevenueCat receives your anonymised App User ID (automatically assigned — not linked to your name or email), your purchase receipt from the Google Play Store, and entitlement status. We do not collect or store your payment card details; all billing is handled entirely by Google Play. RevenueCat stores subscription state on their servers to verify entitlements across devices and sessions.

1.6  Advertising (Free Users Only)

The App displays advertisements to users on the free plan, served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's Advertising ID and other device signals to serve personalised or non-personalised ads depending on your device settings and applicable regional regulations. Google's use of your data for advertising is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Subscribed (Pro) users do not see advertisements.

1.7  Push Notifications

If you enable price alerts, the App requests permission to send local push notifications to your device. These notifications are generated entirely on your device by the App itself and are not routed through any external notification server. No notification content leaves your device.

1.8  Firebase

The App includes the Firebase SDK (firebase_core, firebase_remote_config) as a dependency. At this time, Firebase Remote Config is not actively used to collect or transmit user data. If this changes in a future update, this policy will be updated accordingly.

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us:

Analysis history (chart analysis results and the file path of analysed images)

Price alert configurations

Subscription credit balance and tier (cached locally for performance)

App preferences (dark/light mode, selected trading pair)

This data is stored in your device's app-private storage and is inaccessible to other apps. It is deleted if you uninstall the App or clear the App's storage from your device settings. Clearing app data or reinstalling will reset your locally stored credit balance; your subscription itself remains active and will be restored through RevenueCat on your next launch or restore.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to:

Your name, email address, or any account credentials

Your location data

Your contacts or call logs

Your device camera (images are selected from your gallery or shared from other apps — the App does not access the camera directly)

Your financial account information or trading account credentials

Any analytics or crash reporting data beyond what Google Play and AdMob collect automatically as part of their platform services

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:

5. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 18 and older. It is designed for financial chart analysis and is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App in a way that has resulted in personal data being shared, please contact us at qakram480@gmail.com.

6. Data Security

All communications between the App and external services — OpenAI, RevenueCat, Binance, and AdMob — are transmitted over HTTPS (TLS-encrypted connections). Local data stored on your device is protected by your device's standard OS-level app sandboxing. We do not operate any servers or databases that store your personal data.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our own servers, most data rights requests apply to the third-party services listed in Section 4. However, you can:

Delete your analysis history at any time from Settings > Clear Analysis History

Delete individual analyses from the History screen

Disable notifications by revoking notification permission in your device settings

Opt out of personalised advertising by resetting or opting out of your device's Advertising ID in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads

Request deletion of RevenueCat purchase records by contacting RevenueCat directly at support@revenuecat.com

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's functionality changes. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and, for material changes, notify users through the App or the Play Store listing. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
