How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
If you want two complete pairs of earbuds in one box — one set for workouts and one flat, low-profile set made for side sleeping — choose APZXTRK 2-in-1; if you need a single lightweight ear-hanging headset with a detachable neck strap and a bone-conduction-style open fit for running and gym sessions, choose Hamwesh Hanging Earbuds.
• APZXTRK 2-in-1 — biggest strength: You get two full pairs of earbuds (half in-ear + over-ear) sharing one charging case, so the same purchase covers both active listening and side-sleeping comfort. That's a genuinely unusual package.
• APZXTRK 2-in-1 — biggest trade-off: Only one pair can be used at a time; the two pairs can't run simultaneously, so it's a "swap and switch" setup rather than a way to share music in real time.
• Hamwesh — biggest strength: A single ultra-light ear-hanging design (about 90 g) with a detachable neck strap, touch controls and a stated 15 m Bluetooth 5.4 range — built around long, fatigue-free wear during movement.
• Hamwesh — biggest trade-off: It's one headset, not a set, and the spec sheet lists no battery life figure, so runtime is the one thing you can't estimate from paper.
• Who each pick is for: APZXTRK 2-in-1 suits side sleepers and people who want a spare pair for family or backup use; Hamwesh suits runners, gym-goers and anyone who prefers an open, hanging fit.
The APZXTRK 2-in-1 is really a small kit rather than a single pair of earbuds. The package holds two complete pairs — a half in-ear set for active use and an over-ear set shaped for comfortable side sleeping — plus one charging case with an LED digital display that shows battery status. The model is listed as SK35, the color is khaki, and the whole thing weighs about 64 g / 1.5 ounces, so nothing here is bulky.
On paper, the connectivity side is current: Bluetooth 5.4, up to 33 feet of range, and pairing that the manufacturer describes as simply pulling the earbuds out and selecting "sk35" in your Bluetooth settings. You get up to 6 hours of playback per charge, over 30 hours total with the case, and a quick recharge of roughly 1.5 hours over USB-C — the item details list a 1-hour charge time, so expect somewhere in that range. The 32-ohm impedance, dynamic drivers and 20 Hz–20,000 Hz frequency range point to a standard, bass-forward consumer tuning rather than anything exotic.
Buy it if you sleep on your side and normal earbuds dig in, or if you want a backup pair sitting charged for a partner, a kid, or a gym bag. The 2-in-1 angle is the whole point: one case, two jobs. Skip it if you need both pairs running at once — they can't, and that's a hard limitation, not a quirk. Skip it, too, if you want an open, hanging fit; these sit in your ears with passive noise cancellation doing the blocking.
Hamwesh Hanging Earbuds: Who It's For
Hamwesh takes the opposite approach: one headset, engineered around not sitting deep in your ear canal. The listing describes an ear-hanging ergonomic shape made from high-elastic materials with bone conduction technology, which is the reason it can be worn for long stretches without the pressure build-up that in-ear buds often cause. It's black, it weighs about 90 g — the brand compares it to the weight of an egg — and it ships with a detachable neck strap so you can switch between a sporty hanging look and something closer to a neckband.
Buy it if you run, lift or commute and want your ears left open to traffic and surroundings, or if in-ear buds consistently cause fatigue. The neck strap is a nice touch for anyone who has ever nearly lost a bud on a treadmill. Skip it if you want a spare pair in the box, or if you're a side sleeper — the hanging hook shape is designed for movement, not pillow contact. Also note the data sheet lists no battery hours, so treat runtime as unknown until you check the product page yourself.
• Best for side sleeping → APZXTRK 2-in-1. The over-ear pair exists specifically for this; Hamwesh's hanging hooks aren't built for pillow pressure.
• Best for running and gym work → Hamwesh. The ear-hanging fit, high-elastic materials and detachable neck strap are all aimed at motion.
• Best for getting two pairs → APZXTRK 2-in-1. Two complete pairs and one case, ideal for backup or family use at different times.
• Best for open-ear awareness → Hamwesh. Bone conduction and the hanging design leave your ear canal unobstructed; APZXTRK uses passive noise cancellation instead.
• Best for battery transparency → APZXTRK 2-in-1. Up to 6 hours per charge, 30+ hours with the case, ~1.5-hour USB-C recharge, plus an LED display showing real-time battery for both buds and case. Hamwesh publishes no comparable figure.
• Best for connection range → APZXTRK 2-in-1 on paper, at 33 feet versus Hamwesh's stated 15 meters (roughly 49 feet) — Hamwesh actually claims the longer reach, so if you roam away from your phone, that favors Hamwesh.
• Best for a single, fuss-free headset → Hamwesh. No swapping pairs, no deciding which set to grab.
• Best for color and case design → APZXTRK 2-in-1. Khaki buds with a black-and-yellow case; Hamwesh is straightforward black.
My Verdict
Yes — the package includes two complete pairs (half in-ear and over-ear) plus one charging case. The important catch: only one pair can be used at a time. They can't both connect and play simultaneously.
Probably not ideal. The ear-hanging hook design is built for movement, and the data sheet doesn't describe any sleep-specific shape. For side sleeping, the APZXTRK's over-ear pair is the more logical fit.
APZXTRK states up to 6 hours per charge with 30+ hours total from the case and roughly 1–1.5 hours to recharge over USB-C. Hamwesh doesn't publish a battery-life figure, so I can't compare runtime fairly.
Hamwesh, in my opinion. The lightweight 90 g build, high-elastic ear-hanging fit, neck strap and open design all point to exercise. APZXTRK's half in-ear pair works for light workouts, but it's the secondary use case in that package.
Both sit in the budget-friendly end of the market, but I don't quote figures. Use the price button on this page to see the current cost on Amazon and compare from there.
