ABOUT
G. Narayanamma institute of technology and Science (for women), Hyderabad was founded by late Sri G. Pulla Reddy Garu in 1997, with the objective of providing an excellent learning facility for women to pursue education in engineering. It is today considered one of the best engineering colleges in Hyderabad.
The Department of Humanities and Mathematics established in the year 1997, is an ancillary department offering courses across the years for both B. Tech. and M. Tech.programmes in the disciplines of English, Mathematics and Management Studies. The department takes care of Administrative and Academic responsibilities of the First Year B.Tech. students to ensure smooth transition from their Intermediate phase to the current Professional course through counseling and guidance provided by the faculty members. As Members of BOS, Conveners of various student-led clubs, Coordinators of various events and activities and Members of different committees, the department plays a pivotal role in the progressive development of the college.
APTUS GANA is a Mathematical club established in 2020 by Department of Humanities & Mathematics under GNITS student clubs. The objective of the program is to assess the mathematical ability of the students and also to induct them into competitive exams, placements and GATE. As a part of the programme, sessions (online/offline) will be conducted based on the following topics:
Mathematical Aptitude
Logical reasoning
Basic Engineering Mathematics
After the completion of sessions, quizzes(online/offline) will be conducted to analyze their knowledge and to suggest for further improvements.
