We at AP&T take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the AP&T Loyalty mobile application ("the App"), how we use it, and what choices you have. We've written this in plain language because we believe you deserve to understand exactly what happens with your data.

What Information We Collect
When you create an account and use the App, we collect the following:
Account & Profile Information
Your first and last name
Email address
Mobile phone number (with country dialing code)
Date of birth
Nationality
Gender
Profile picture (if you choose to upload one)
Password (stored securely, never in plain text)
We need this information to set up your loyalty account, identify you when you visit our stores, and keep your rewards safe.
Loyalty & Transaction Data
Your loyalty card number and membership tier
Points balance, earned points, and redeemed points
Purchase history, including transaction amounts, dates, store locations, and receipt numbers
Coupons and vouchers associated with your account
Wishlist items and product preferences
This is the core of what the App does — tracking your rewards so you get the benefits you've earned.
Device & Technical Information
Device type and operating system
App version and build number
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications
Network connectivity status
We collect this to keep the App running smoothly, send you notifications about offers and rewards, and troubleshoot issues when things go wrong.
Biometric Data
If you enable the App Lock feature, we use your device's built-in biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) to secure the App. We do not store your biometric data — your device handles that entirely on its own. We only receive a "yes" or "no" confirmation from your device.
Location Information
The App has permission to access your device's location services. We use this to show you nearby AP&T stores and relevant local offers. You can turn off location access at any time through your phone's settings.
How We Use Your Information
Here's exactly what we do with the data we collect:
Manage your loyalty account — We use your profile and transaction data to track points, manage your tier status, and process reward redemptions.
Send you notifications — We send push notifications about new offers, promotions, point updates, and important account activity. You can opt out of these through your device settings at any time.
Improve the App — We use crash reports (through Firebase Crashlytics) and basic usage patterns to fix bugs and make the App better. These reports don't contain your personal details — just technical information about what went wrong.
Show relevant offers — We use your purchase history and location to surface deals and promotions that are actually useful to you.
Secure your account — We use your phone number for OTP verification during registration and password recovery. We also use device information to detect unauthorized access.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. Full stop.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

These services may collect certain technical data as described in their respective privacy policies. We've chosen them carefully and only share the minimum information necessary for them to work.
Data Storage & Security
Your account data is stored on secure servers maintained by AP&T.
Sensitive information like your login credentials are encrypted.
Local data on your device (like your session token and preferences) is stored using secure on-device storage.
We use SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between the App and our servers.
The App includes a certificate pinning mechanism for added connection security.
No system is 100% bulletproof, but we take reasonable and industry-standard measures to protect your information.
Your Choices & Rights
You have control over your data:
Update your profile — You can edit your personal information directly in the App under your profile settings.
Disable notifications — Turn off push notifications anytime through your phone's system settings.
Disable location access — Revoke location permissions through your device settings.
Disable biometric lock — Turn off the App Lock feature from the App settings.
Delete your account — Contact us to request complete deletion of your account and associated data.
Children's Privacy
The App is not designed for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us immediately and we'll remove it.
Changes to This Policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where possible, notify you through the App. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
