In chess game have 3 stages of rules of playing games-
1)Opening rules
2)Middle game rules
3)Endgame rules.
Let's learn about rules and follow these rules to win chess game and also to improve your chess game to next level.
Opening Rules
1) Play pawns & Knight at center squares
2) Play knight before bishop
3) Do castling as quickly as possible
4) We should not move same piece twice
5) Dont move pawns unnecessarily
6) Develop minor pieces
7) Dont move queen early
8) Move queen after developing minor pieces
9) Move queen exact center square of 2nd rank for white and 7th rank for black
10) Rook likes open files
11) If you have time to develop the rook then develop the rook at exact center squares of 1st rank for white and 8th rank for black ( Some opponents are attacking players , they don't give time (chance ) to develop the rook. In this case , you can delay developing the rook and keeps on controlling the center squares)
Middle game rules
1) Start attack and keeps on control as many as center squares, because when you control center squares , then you can start attacking in many ways to do checkmate
2) Knight is good at middle game
3) Avoid giving free pieces and pawns, because each one pieces maintains position well to do checkmate whether at middle game or end game. Each pawn can promote as queen. So each piece and pawns are most important
4) While playing middle game , you should see position . If middle game is open (open diagonals), then exchange your knight . If middle game is closed ( So many pieces or pawns at middle game then exchange your bishop
5) Bishop is slightly better than knight . So when you do exchange sacrifice of your bishop against knight , then capture pawns along with knight
End game rules
1) Queen, Rook and Bishop are good at end game , because these pieces controls long range squares, but not knight. Knight moves only 3 squares of “L” shape. So knight can control only 1 side of chess board (top side or bottom side )(left side or right side)
2) Bishop likes open diagonals (slanting line)
3) In end game king is a most powerful piece , because king will help (support) to do checkmate . So we should move king towards center to do checkmate
4) When you are piece down then try to capture and clear opponent’s pawns , this rule will help you to draw your game
5) When you are piece up then try to exchange pieces, this rule will help you to win the game safely, easily , quickly
After knowing these rules , next step is to do lot of puzzles to trick your opponent or to win games quickly.
