I’m an assistant professor at Chungnam National University (CNU). My research interests center around the ways to optimize power system operation mainly from the economic point of view. Prior to joining CNU, I completed my Ph.D. in electrical engineering at Seoul National University (SNU) in Korea, where I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Jong-Keun Park, followed by a postdoc in department of statistics at SNU and the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry (CRIEPI) in Japan, where my research focused on developing machine learning algorithm and transient analysis applicable to power systems.
