2025-26 APPLICATION

The initial new student application window for the 2025-26 school year will be open from January 6, 2025 until February 28, 2025.  The initial admissions lottery results from all schools will be released in SchoolMint on March 10, 2025.  Applications to schools after the initial lottery may be placed on schools' wait lists if no spaces are available.

KNOW YOUR OPTIONS

Make a list of schools.  Research your school options and know where you want to apply for the before the application opens. Check out the list of participating charter schools and visit the APS School Finder to learn more about each school and your other school options.  You can also visit schools in person by consulting a calendar of individual school information sessions, and there is also an Atlanta School Choice Expo organized by community partners that is scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 11 am to 2 pm at the Loudermilk Center.  

APS neighborhood schools.  Traditional APS neighborhood schools have a defined attendance zone, and you can enroll in your zoned school at any time during the year.
