Good evening, ladies. I think our site is all set and ready to share for our Unit 7 assignment. If anyone wants me to do anything else, please text me. -Tracy
I found a few spelling errors and fixed them. -Tracy
Hi Ladies,
I tried to fix errors in my intro as much as I know. If there are still some mistakes, I apologies for that. Any of you is welcome to fix it, because I do not want our website looks less worthy because of these mistakes.
On a different note, I do not want to make any changes in my video. In my opinion website looks cool and does not need anymore changes. If any of you want to do any more changes, you are welcome.

Evening, ladies! I submitted our Wiki page in the Unit 7 peer review DB. According to the instructions, only one of us has to do it.
If anyone is making changes to your videos tonight (Sunday) and are using Animoto, all you need to do is publish the new version, then share with YouTube. It should replace the old video with the new in the same URL link.
Tracy
Good morning again!!!
Once we get our feed back from our video assignments this week. I will go ahead and post the link to our page for the DB assignment.
-Rachel
Good morning,
The site looks good. Thank you Tracy for uploading them. They look great!
-Rachel
Evening, everyone! The site is all set and ready for each of you to link to your assignment this week ;) Tracy
Hello everyone,
I know I was not required to create 'Digital Communication' video for our website. However, I had to create it anyway for our assignment. I am posting its animoto and YouTube address in case, the group members want to consider it for the 'Digital Communication' page.

Tracy,
my video is taking longer than expected to upload to youtube...it has been going since 1130 and it is now 1208...i am leaving my computer on and hopefully in the am i can put the link here..
you can check it out in the discussion board if you need to prior..
-Rachel
Thank you, Rachel!
Hi friends,
This is the YouTube video address for 'Digital Access'. Check it, I need your feedback.
Digital Literacy YouTube video address is: https://youtu.be/35AXQOGkwF0
Syeda Naqvi
Syeda, I'm not sure why you are creating so many videos. I've tried to reach out to you about this, but I don't think you are seeing my messages. You only needed to create one video. Tracy
A reminder for everyone:
This week's Wiki video is a GROUP PROJECT. We all need to communicate with each other as to what we will cover in our video presentation. Communicating here is a part of our weekly grades. As you can see below, Rachel and I have already asked to cover two of the three topics. I will post my video on Digital Access in this week's DB for peer review.
Tracy
Hi friends,
My suggestion is that if we add date to our discussion which will help us to know which week or topic we are talking about.
Tracy, I am sorry, I did not see your messages about videos. I was creating videos as my defense system that if one video is not okay, maybe the other one would work.

To clarify, see the instructions for Unit 6 assignment:
Tracy
Good morning...
I would like to do the video on digital literacy...thank you, Rachel!
Hi, everyone. For this week's video assignment, I would like to do Digital Access. Thanks, Tracy
Thank you Tracy for doing what was done this week.
Can we try to get it better together for next week.
Hi friends,
I found an interesting article about digital literacy. This article talks about digital literacy from faculty point of view that how important it is to make students digitally literate. This article has a very good discussion about the topic.
If you have time to look at it and see if it is a good fit to our digital literacy page. It is not a very long article and very precise about the topic.
My concern is that that this article is available on Post University library. I do not know that any outsider of Post University would be able to access to this article. Your thoughts please.

Syeda
Thank you Tracy for approving the YouTube videos I requested.
I have a question that what type of content I should look for future assignments? Because I noted that the article I suggested from Post University Library did not work.
Syeda
Hi, Syeda. When I click on your link, it says that the article is restricted to Post University participants. I think the best way to locate content is through a Creative Commons source like the one we have access to in Unit 5. -Tracy
It is now Sunday afternoon. I took the initiative to add articles to each page as we didn't already collect them. I found them through the link in this week's Unit as we were instructed to use. I also wrote all of the references and formatted every page. Text me if anyone adds anything today so I can format that as well before our project is due tonight. If you do add anything, I would appreciate it if you included the citation on the reference page.
Thanks,
Tracy
Hello! Tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) I will work on formatting all of the site's content. There's a good start on videos here, now we need articles and their references. If anyone adds anything Sunday evening, please text me. We each need to submit the link to this site in our assignment by Sunday at midnight (I don't stay up that late!). -Tracy
Here is a good video that explains digital access and starts with digital citizenship...
it is explained in simple terms and is easy to understand.
let me know what you think?
-Rachel
Hi guys!!!! Tomorrow is Saturday and I am just checking in to see where everyone is at. It appears the site is all set up...so step one has been completed..
step 2 also looks to be off to a good start...I just looked back and the rubric and we have to make sure that we are using references and APA format...
Step 3 is me..i will be getting videos and more graphics together and send them to Tracy
Keep up the great work guys!!!
-Rachel
I am not sure what happened. I added a text box and published and then everything that was there is missing. Not sure what happened but I can't seem to get it back. hmm any thoughts..
I'm not sure what happened, either! My message disappeared. To recap, if everyone could please post a brief bio and picture so I can add them to the home page.

Hi everyone,
I am posting the URL of short video for our pages. I have chosen the short video because I personally I love them. I believe long videos are for deeper knowledge and information. Check the video and if all of us agree, Tracy may post them on the pages.
Video for digital citizenship: https://youtu.be/ju9aOc2MLyo
Video for digital literacy: https://youtu.be/_LElWqXi7Ag
Video for digital access: https://youtu.be/dJjR8GWXXKA
I am ready to hear from you that what other type of content we should choose for our pages like images, articles, books' name, e-books, etc.
Once we choose what the content will be I will research videos, images, etc. to include with our information. I will be sitting down tonight and looking over the assignment again in more detail and start to post some items here....If anyone has any specific sites other than the ones above they would like me to research please share :) Thanks,RachelThis is an article from Unit 6 Future of Education class. This spells out all of the changing demographics and how they impact digital accessibility. I think Digital Access should include content that describes the achievement gap between students that can afford technology and those who can't. Digital Literacy should include how teachers are using technology to encourage students to become more knowledgable using devices and programs. Maybe even include the rise of online students at all levels?
Once you all start uploading your content, I will get on to clean it up as needed. Please don't forget to add your citations on the reference page.
Tracy
I am sorry I wasn't able to be much help as we were driving back from Rhode Island today. As I caught up on our texts, I can tell that we are all going to be very dedicated to each of our roles. I can't wait to dive into this project with all of you.
-Rachel
To summarize our group text exchange, we have agreed to the following topics:
Sound good? -Tracy
I am satisfy with all three topics and my role in the group as a content locator.
As I know we need to submit the rest of the 'wiki' projects separately. Right?
The problem I am facing now is when I try to submit it, it is not showing me the 'submit' option. I know I did something wrong. I wrote the problem to our professor, but I think she is busy. Can any of you how to fix the problem.
Syeda
I meant 'wiki' project steps. I apologize.
Syeda
I am Syeda and posting a message from Latasha which she texted me on her behalf:

Hi friends,
I might get the role of content locator. I want to know if we need to find content about 'Digital Literacy', what we should look for, videos, articles, or websites? And how many resources should we find for any specific topic?
Hi who is this? Then I can edit the role.Good morning ladies,
Could we finalize everything up by tonight. Tracy is out of town with limited access to email I believe, can the 3 of us finalize everything and then we can catch Tracy up when she returns.
Thanks,
Rachel
Hi Ladies,
I have posted in each category as the content locator let me know if this works. Hope everyone is having a great Friday.

Hi Ladies,
I'm truly having a lot trouble with my voice over on the video presentation I did create a power point and uploaded the video to you tube but not sure if I did it correctly. Just a bit frustrated because my Ipad gives a lot trouble and my work computer is 2010 not a 2013.
