What roles do you two want?
Excellent. I'm happy to work with you both as well. I will take on Multimedia and Graphics Designer. Let's get started!!! Now that we have designated responsibilities; we can now move forward and select topics(Themes). My suggestion is for each of us to select one topic(theme) for the Wiki Project. We can communicate via Discussion page for additional suggestions for one another's theme. If you prefer a certain theme please make a note before 6:00 p.m.(PST). I know the holidays are approaching and you want to spend time relaxing and enjoy the holiday weekend without concern for school assignments(Completion Step 5). Please report your suggested theme here in the Discussion, thanks.

Digital Etiquette
What is digital etiquette? Digital etiquette is the mannerisms all people should follow while interacting through any digital source. Many have created lists or rules, some of which you can find at the following sites: https://achievevirtual.org/7-rules-for-online-etiquette/, https://www.verywellmind.com/ten-rules-of-netiquette-22285, and https://www.wabisabilearning.com/blog/etiquette-kids-digital-age. All of these lists have similarities, they all agree that you should be respectful, think before you speak, type, or share content, and not judge others so harshly. Before writing or sharing something online you should remember the golden rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated. That is the basis for digital etiquette. When sharing your thoughts, knowledge, or interests online it should have a positive impact on others. There is already so much negativity in the world today that we should do our best not to add to it.

Digital Access
Digital access means that all students have equal access to technology, internet, and other digital sources to have the same opportunity as others. Many school districts offer 1:1 technology such as chromebooks without realizing that some students do not have internet access in their own homes. Therefore, this is a disadvantage to those students. There are sources that provide information on how to support students and improve digital access to all. The International Society for Technology in Education provides an article which provides information to improve digital access for all students. In this article they discuss the main aspects of digital access to include internet access, BYOD (bring your own devices) classrooms, STEM, and how digital access impacts the homework gap.
Districts can support their students and improve digital access by training teachers, parents and students about digital literacy. Some districts have developed community broadband programs with internet providers to improve digital access. It’s time to provide all students with equal opportunity with digital access.

Digital Security
We all know that we should protect our own privacy when online, but how secure are we? When thinking about digital security you have to be aware of the possibilities. Diana Levy posted a graphic that provides interesting facts about digital security and those possibilities (see link below). Many of use do not have the technological skills to truly understand digital security and the dangers that lurk. However, there are some steps we can take to do our part in keeping our information private. Executech and UC Berkeley provide tips of ways to stay safe online and protect your information. Some of it may seem like common sense, but they provide advice that is helpful to all. Mainly the idea is to be cautious and aware of what you access on personal devices and what information you provide online.

Good Job on the content. Impressive. Details organize and consistent with each theme.
Christopher, do you want me to embed my own video on the digital etiquette page? I don't want to mess anything up but I was just going to place it at the top of that page. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
