ELA + Writing

ELA

This week you will listen to two versions of Little Red Riding Hood to practice comparing and contrasting stories.

Comparing and contrasting stories is a reading strategy readers use to understand stories in a deeper way.

Today, listen to version 1 of Little Red Riding Hood here.

Then, take notes about the story elements. This means:

  • Who are the characters? How would you describe them?

  • What is the setting?

  • What was the problem?

  • How was the problem solved?

Knowing prefixes will help you understand the meaning of new words.

Writing
