Welcome to AppXRay (referred to as "we," "us," or "our"), developed by dearbloggers.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing transparent, secure offline mobile tools. 

AppXRay is designed from the ground up with a "Privacy by Design" philosophy. This Privacy Policy describes how AppXRay handles information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using AppXRay, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Zero Data Collection & 100% Offline Architecture

AppXRay does NOT collect, store on external servers, transmit, sell, or monetize any of your personal data or device usage information. 

- No User Accounts: You do not need to register, create an account, or log in with an email address or password to use AppXRay.

- No Internet Transmission: AppXRay does NOT request the Android INTERNET permission (`android.permission.INTERNET`). The App is incapable of transmitting your installed app lists, tracker scans, or device diagnostics over the internet to us or any third party.

- 100% Local Execution: All scans, bytecode analysis, tracker detections, and report generations are conducted completely offline and locally on your device.

2. Device Permissions We Request and How They Are Used

To provide offline privacy auditing and app inspection features, AppXRay requests specific Android device permissions. These permissions are used exclusively on your local device:

A. Query All Packages (`android.permission.QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES`)

- Purpose: To scan and inspect the applications installed on your device.

- Local Use Only: AppXRay reads app metadata (package names, version codes, requested permissions, certificates, and code signatures) locally to identify embedded trackers, advertising libraries, and privacy risks. No app information ever leaves your device.

B. Usage Statistics (`android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS`)

- Purpose: Optional permission granted by the user to monitor app usage metrics.

- Local Use Only: Used exclusively on-device to show you screen-time statistics, last-used timestamps, and app activity summaries inside the App.

C. Biometric Authentication (`android.permission.USE_BIOMETRIC`)

- Purpose: To secure AppXRay with an optional App Lock.

- Local Use Only: Authentication is handled entirely by your device's native Android BiometricPrompt security hardware. We never have access to your biometric data or fingerprints.

D. Post Notifications (`android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS`)

- Purpose: To notify you locally when a scan finishes or when a newly installed application contains high-risk tracking libraries.

- Local Use Only: All notifications are scheduled and triggered locally on your device. No cloud push notification services (such as FCM) are used.

E. Package Installation & Removal (`REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES` / `REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES`)

- Purpose: To assist you in backing up your user APKs to local storage, reinstalling your backups, or requesting the uninstallation of suspicious applications that you choose to remove.

3. Local Data Storage & Security

- Local Database (SQLite): Your scan history, tracker definitions, and custom preferences are stored locally in an isolated SQLite database on your device's internal storage (`appxray.sqlite`).

- Security: Your data is protected by Android's application sandbox. No external application or remote server can access your local database.

- Database Retention: You have full control over this data. Clearing the App's data in Android Settings or uninstalling AppXRay immediately and permanently deletes all local databases and history files.

4. No Third-Party Services or Advertising

- No Ad Networks: AppXRay is completely ad-free. We do not use Google AdMob, Unity Ads, or any other third-party advertising SDKs.

- No Analytics SDKs: We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or any third-party behavioral trackers.

- No Third-Party Data Sharing: Because AppXRay has no network connection and uses no third-party cloud SDKs, your information is never shared, traded, or rented to any third parties.

5. Pro License Verification

If you purchase the optional AppXRay Pro companion license (`com.analyzer.appxray.pro`), verification is performed 100% offline and locally on your device by comparing cryptographic package signing certificates between the two apps. No network calls or cloud license servers are contacted.

6. Children's Privacy

AppXRay is intended for general audiences and technology enthusiasts (ages 18 and over). Because the App does not collect or transmit personal information from any user, we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions).

7. User Data Rights (GDPR / CCPA / Privacy Rights)

Because AppXRay does not collect, process, or store personal data on any server, we do not maintain personal profiles, identifiers, or remote records. All data generated by the App resides exclusively on your local device. You can exercise your full right to erasure at any time by clearing the App's storage cache or by uninstalling the App from your device.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect future offline features or legal requirements. Any modifications will be posted to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
