Welcome to the official support page for App Wheel.

App Wheel is an Android home-screen utility that lets you organize and launch applications using customizable scrolling widgets.

Getting started

1. Install and open App Wheel.

2. Read and accept the legal notice.

3. Select Create a wheel.

4. Give the wheel a name.

5. Choose a vertical or horizontal layout.

6. Select the applications you want to include.

7. Arrange the applications in your preferred order.

8. Choose the wheel’s color, transparency, and other settings.

9. Select Save.

10. Return to your Home screen.

11. Long-press an empty area of the Home screen and select Widgets.

12. Find App Wheel and add the desired widget to the Home screen.

The exact widget steps may vary depending on the Android device and Home-screen launcher.

Editing a wheel

Open App Wheel from the app drawer, then select the wheel you want to modify.

You can change its:

• Name

• Included applications

• Application order

• Orientation

• Background color

• Transparency

• Scrolling behavior

• Other available appearance settings

Select Save after making changes.

You can also use the small settings control on a widget to open its configuration.

Resizing a widget

Long-press the widget on the Home screen. If the Home-screen launcher supports widget resizing, resize handles will appear.

Drag the handles to the desired size, then release the widget. Available sizes and placement behavior are controlled partly by the device’s Home-screen launcher.

If a launcher cannot rotate an existing widget’s resize area, remove the old widget after adding the correctly oriented replacement.

Troubleshooting

If a wheel does not update:

1. Open App Wheel.

2. Select the affected wheel.

3. Confirm its settings and select Save.

4. Return to the Home screen.

5. If necessary, remove the widget and add it again.

If an application is missing from a wheel, confirm that the application is installed and enabled, then reopen App Wheel.

Restarting the device may resolve temporary Home-screen launcher or widget problems.

Do not send passwords, payment-card information, banking information, government identification numbers, medical information, or other sensitive information.

Suggestions and future features

A Pro version is under consideration, but its features and release date have not been finalized.

Users may submit feature ideas through the feedback option provided in App Wheel. Suggestions are welcome, but submitting an idea does not guarantee that it will be implemented.
