App Wheel is an Android home-screen utility that lets users organize and launch installed applications through customizable widgets.

This Privacy Policy explains what information App Wheel accesses, how that information is used, and the choices available to users.

Information processed by App Wheel

App Wheel accesses information about applications installed on the user’s device so the user can select which applications appear in a wheel. This information may include application names, package identifiers, and application icons.

App Wheel also stores the user’s wheel settings, including selected applications, application order, wheel names, orientation, color, transparency, and other appearance preferences.

This information is processed and stored locally on the user’s device. It is not transmitted to the developer.

If the user chooses a wallpaper-based color palette, App Wheel may access colors supplied by Android from the current wallpaper. This processing occurs locally on the device. App Wheel does not upload the wallpaper image to the developer.

Information App Wheel does not collect

App Wheel does not require or provide user accounts.

Google Play purchases

App Wheel may offer optional support purchases through Google Play Billing.

Payments are processed by Google Play. The developer does not receive or store the user’s full payment-card or bank-account information. App Wheel receives only the purchase information required to confirm and process the transaction.

Optional support purchases do not unlock features and are not charitable or tax-deductible donations.

Google’s handling of payment information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Feedback and suggestions

App Wheel may provide links to optional feedback or feature-suggestion forms. Selecting one of these links opens an external webpage in the user’s browser.

Users should not submit passwords, financial information, health information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information through a feedback form.

Information voluntarily submitted through an external form is processed by the form provider according to that provider’s privacy policies. App Wheel does not automatically attach the user’s installed-app list or other locally stored wheel information to a feedback submission.

Data storage and deletion

Wheel configurations and preferences are stored locally on the user’s device.

Users can delete this locally stored information by:

App Wheel does not create online user accounts, so there is no separate App Wheel account to delete.

If a user voluntarily includes identifiable information in a feedback submission and wants to request its deletion, the user may contact:

Anonymous submissions may not be identifiable and therefore may not be retrievable for deletion.

Security

App Wheel is designed to minimize data collection and keep wheel information on the user’s device. Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no application, device, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should keep Android, Google Play, and App Wheel updated and should install applications only from trusted sources.

Children’s privacy

App Wheel is a general-purpose utility and is not specifically directed toward children under 13. App Wheel does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when App Wheel’s features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this website with a revised “Last updated” date.
